Save Our Homes Cap is 3%

January 31, 2012

The assessed value of property benefiting from the homestead exemption will increase by 3% for 2012 as required by Section 193.155, Florida Statutes, referred to in a recently released Florida Department of Revenue memorandum. In no case, however, will the Assessed value exceed the Just (Market) value.
